The Angel Venture Fair is organized by the Private Investors Forum
(PIF), a non-profit organization of accredited private investors. Held
in Philadelphia, AVF unites entrepreneurs from across the Northeast
with private accredited investors from New England to Virginia. Please

Capital Access Network
ETC is one of the sponsors of the University of Maryland Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship’s(CAN)
program. This is a funding preparation program which provides intensive
coaching for start-up entrepreneurs and then connects them with
qualified angel investors at monthly breakfasts to present their

Early Stage East
Founded
in 1998 as a non-profit organization, Early Stage East has grown from a
single-day venture capital fair to a year-round series of programs and
events. Early Stage East is the initial venture capital showcase for
promising young companies. The showcases serve as a gathering place for

capital and successfully start break-away businesses.

The American Security Challenge As
the largest competition and matchmaking opportunity in the nation, the
American Security Challenge is the center of gravity for the critical
stakeholders in the security technology ecosystem. The Challenge’s
mission is to bring emerging and innovative security technology
companies to the attention of qualified investors, strategic partners,
serial entrepreneurs, public and private customers so that the
probability of new technologies getting to market is increased while
the time/cost it takes to get to market is decreased. This “standing
room only” event draws C-level technology executives, qualified
investors and vendor-facing CIO/CSO/CTO technology buyers. This year
the event will be held on September 23, in the Washington DC area. A
pre-revenue event (Futures Challenge) will be hosted in the DC metro
area in July, 2010. Deadline for entrants to submit Executive Summaries
is May 28, 2010.
