Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) Baltimore, an initiative of the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), today announced a co-investment in JuneBrain and welcomed the company as its newest portfolio company. The partnership accelerates JuneBrain’s path toward FDA clearance and early commercial launch of its wearable, AI-powered retinal imaging platform while positioning the technology to expand access to advanced diagnostics across Baltimore communities.

A Baltimore life sciences startup, a portfolio company of Emerging Technology Centers, has won national recognition for its work in genomics. IndyGeneUS Bio, led by founder and chief executive Yusuf Henriques, took first place in the Disabled American Veterans Pitch Competition, which spotlights veteran-owned companies.
