Emerging Technology Centers (ETC) Baltimore, an initiative of the Baltimore Development Corporation (BDC), today announced a co-investment in JuneBrain and welcomed the company as its newest portfolio company. The partnership accelerates JuneBrain’s path toward FDA clearance and early commercial launch of its wearable, AI-powered retinal imaging platform while positioning the technology to expand access to advanced diagnostics across Baltimore communities.

ETC Baltimore has appointed Chidiebube Chikezie as its new Venture Studio Manager, bringing her scientific expertise and passion for inclusive innovation to support underrepresented biotech founders and grow the city’s life sciences ecosystem.
